Rozzy Ridge

Since there isn't always new and exciting stuff to post about Miss Roxy (other than her hanging in that pasture with her friends) I decided to post about Roz tonight. He and Erin had a lesson earlier this evening and did so well! He hasn't really been jumped enough the last couple of years due to many different things. At this point my goal is to have him jumping twice a week. He got to jump on Sunday this week and was pretty decent. Today he was AWESOME! He was really quiet and well behaved which was nice. There was one scary fence which they had never jumped together. He used to be fine with it but last summer and earlier this year he was a little spooked by it. I warned Erin a little bit and set them at it. He did refuse it the first couple of times but was not dirty or crazy about it and the third time through he hopped right over!

They were able to canter courses and I got to move some fences up as well. Roz is really a jumper at heart so normally as the fences get a bit bigger and he starts to canter he really gets hyped up! He was very quiet and nice today which makes it so much easier when you are learning to jump. Here are some pictures and a short video from today. We are all going cross country schooling on Saturday so that should be a lot of fun!

Isn't he beautiful!?!
