Growing Up - Grazing Muzzle

I've always said that I'd put a grazing muzzle on Emi when she needed it. She's been putting on weight, even with limited time on the pasture and I knew I needed to do something about it. Well...Emi is now the proud owner of a grazing muzzle.  There was some sassy head tossing when I put it on, but she pretty much went right to eating. What a smart girl! I feel a lot better knowing that her grass consumption is being restricted.

  1. I had to put one on my pony because she foundered. Just be sure to hose it out once a week or so. They get really funky inside with the fresh spring grass.

  2. Lucy is rocking the Hannibal Lecter look too. It's a good look for the curvy girls!

  6. Awww I hate having to use a grazing muzzle, but it sure is great to have when it's needed. Prevention is always best! I'm glad she figured it out so quickly.
